Pre-Registration and Remittance of 5NWCR Fee

Participants to the 5NWCR can pre-register online by submitting the duly accomplished registration form thru email addressed to E.Nogales@census.gov.ph and remittance of fee thru Over-the-Counter (OTC) collection service of the Philippine National Bank. Simply fill in PNB Bills Payment Form in three (3) copies, 1 copy for the bank, 1 copy for NSO, the other 1 for your file, with the following information:

Remitter or Subscriber Name: (Name of participant)
Reference Code: 5NWCR
Amount remitted: P3,600

Bank remittance of registration fee shall be up to August 2, 2010 only. Thereafter, payment shall be accepted at the SMX Convention Center.

Participants are advised to present on August 3, 2010 copy of their PNB validated deposit slip at the 5NWCR Registration Counter, SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia (MOA), Pasay City, for the issuance of the corresponding Official Receipt and workshop kit.

The following checks are not acceptable payment to PNB: Out-of-town checks, regional checks, postal money orders, checks drawn on banks not covered by PCHC and BSP regional clearing facilities, checks payable to cash or bearer and second endorsed checks.

An Invitation

The National Statistics Office (NSO) – Office of the Civil Registrar General (OCRG) will be conducting the 5th National Workshop on Civil Registration (5NWCR) with the theme “Tamang Rehistro, Lahat Panalo” which will be held at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City on August 3-5, 2010.

We are pleased to invite you and your City/Municipal Civil Registrar to the said workshop.

This workshop aims to provide a venue for exchange of ideas and sharing of experiences for the civil registrars, mayors, members of the judiciary, and other stakeholders. Likewise, it aims also to provide updates concerning the implementation of civil registration system in the Philippines. Among the topics to be discussed are the following: (1) Barangay Civil Registration System (BCRS); (2) BREQS Experience at the LGU; (3) Frontline Service; and (4) Philippine Civil Registry Information System (PhilCRIS) among others.

Each participant will be charged a workshop fee of PhP3,600.00 to cover the expenses for the venue, materials and other related expenses. We will appreciate it if we receive your confirmation on or before June 30, 2010.
